Mykonos Offshore Regatta

The Mykonos Race is every sailor's favourite event on the racing calendar. Traditionally a "downwind dash", the race typically begins in a windy south easterly in Table Bay, passes Dassen Island to port, and ends in spectacular fashion in the Langebaan Lagoon. The sailors are greeted by a big party on the Friday night, before heading into the bay for a pursuit race on Saturday.
